Castlederg, County Tyrone
The original memorial erected in the late 1930s was an illuminated clock tower. It has been replaced by the above memorial. In November 2001 a new memorial tablet was dedicated which included addition names for both the First and Second World Wars.
The inscription on the new table reads;-


To the glorious memory of those who gave their lives
fighting for God, King and Empire
during the wars 1914 – 1918 and 1939 – 1945.
