Saint James’s Church of Ireland, Antrim Road, Belfast

At the morning service on Sunday 9th May 1920 the Dean of Belfast, the Very Rev. T. G. G. Collins, B.D. dedicated, “To the glory of God and in grateful recognition of the men of the parish who fought in the great war” and also “ in grateful and affectionate memory of the members of the congregation who freely gave their lives for the liberty of the world” in the same stupendous struggle.
The memorials included choir stalls, a prayer desk and a handsome mural tablet of bronze which perpetuated the memory of the fallen; -

The memorial stained glass light is in the east window, and is a beautiful work of art showing in the upper panel the Good Shepherd with his sheep, and in the lower panel the Christ bending under His cross.

St. Silas’s Parish Church, Belfast

A beautiful new pulpit erected in St. Silas’s Parish Church to perpetuate the memory of the heroic men who fell in the great war, as dedicated at the morning service on Sunday 30th May 1920, by the Right Rev. Dr. Grierson, Lord Bishop of the Diocese.
The pulpit, which is the manufacture of Messrs. Purdy & Millard, Belfast is of white oak, with delightful carvings. Into the front panel, in full view of the congregation, is inserted a beautiful polished brass plate which bears the inscription and the names of the fallen, as follows; -
“This pulpit was erected by the parishioners to the glory of God and in ever grateful memory of the men of this parish church who gave their lives in the cause of righteousness and freedom during the great war: -
